The student will demonstrate a synthesis of the knowledge gained in this course by producing a scholarly work that discusses current and future trends in patient data analytics associated with maintaining information privacy and applied ethical decision making for the health information management professional. The scholarly work will be based on the preceding substantive annotated bibliographies and meet the following criteria:

Writing mechanics demonstrate AMA writing style that is adhered to regarding spelling, grammar, punctuation and presentation. This is a scholarly paper that is well written in a professional format. The paper will be a minimum of 10 pages (including title page and references).

A title page is expected. An abstract is optional. The writing style of the American Medical Association (AMA) is used accurately and consistently for in-text citations and references. You must provide a citation for ideas or words that are not originally yours. The work must be supported by a minimum of eight (8) scholarly (peer-reviewed) references from previous annotated bibliography assignments that are appropriately cited throughout the paper and numerically referenced at the end of the work on a separate reference page. There are no references included in the work that are not cited within the body of the paper. The paper and its references are double spaced with 1-inch margins and done in 12-point Times New Roman font.
