A research paper on Native American artifacts

Research disputes of at least 2 cases where there have been discrepancies between Native Americans and the state, federal government, or specific individual as to who owns specific artifacts belonging to Native American heritage.

The paper should include your analysis of the statutory and or case law related to the topic. The analysis can be on the local, state, or federal level.

This is not a law review style article. The paper will include a combination of materials that may include legislation, codes & statues, court opinions, and where appropriate, secondary materials. Citation to referenced materials should not be made as footnotes, but within the article at the point discussed.

This paper should be double spaced with a word count of 1200-1350 words. Extensive quotes from court opinions or legislative enactments (such as NAGPRA) are not included in the total word count.
