ASSIGNMENTS FOR WEEK 7:

CAN do 3 days if I have too. The top two questions (Discussion # 1 & 2 ) need to be on a different doc,

  • Discussion #1: for your initial post this week (250 words with 1 scholarly source cited and referenced in APA format due Thursday with two replies of at least 50 words each due Sunday), you will be discussing:
    • Obstructive uropathy involves the obstruction of urine flow as it exits from kidney toward bladder. Answer all of the following:
      • What happens when urine backs up in kidney?
      • What structure can pressure on tubules damage?
      • When obstruction occurs is it typically unilateral or bilateral? Why or why not?
  • Discussion #2: for your initial post this week (250 words with 1 scholarly source cited and referenced in APA format due Sunday with two replies of at least 50 words each due Monday), you will be discussing:
    • Describe the sequences of events from a Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacterial infection and any potential consequences in a male.

  • Assignments: Assignments for class are found in the course and by using Sherpath. To find Sherpath go to “Content” tab at the top, click on “Learning Resources”, then “Sherpath Resources”. Scroll down in Sherpath to find the textbook as an ebook, PowerPoints for review on material, the Case Studies for the papers, and quizzes. Toggle through the weeks in the upper right corner.
    • The assignment this week is an APA paper. This means you must have a title page with running head and page #s (see template attached for proper organization, format, headings), an introduction and Conclusion section are required, as well as using sources cited in the text and listed in an APA Reference page. The essay should be in Times New Roman 12-point font and double spaced. You should also use headings for each of the questions that are bold and centered.

Also note the requirements for this week:

  • Minimum 1000 words in length
  • Minimum of one (1) scholarly resource (feel free to use your textbook)
  • Submit your assignment in a .doc format
    • If you do not have the ability to submit in a .doc format a .pdf format is fine
  • Please be sure to review the grading rubric.
